New to all this

So today was the day I decided to set up a blog??

This is a totally alien concept for me as i'm not a big talker about myself, Id much rather sit in a back room with my flowers and create beautiful things. In my opinion that's what my wonderful husband is for, to be the public face of Flores Diem, if you've ever met him or do meet him you'll see what I mean, hes a bit of a chatterbox but my absolute best friend and the one that keeps me motivated.

Anyway here I am talking to the world and I really don't know what to say.

I suppose I had better start with a little about myself BLUGGGHHH.............

Im a florist but you probably already guessed that, I'm a mum of 3 + step twins (it's a loud household) and i'm a little bit weird. I like History, cats, flowers and Gin, not necessarily in that order.

My husband and I decided to set up Flores Diem as an alternative to mainstream floristry, we are both, after all, a little bit different. we want to (and do) create floristry with real impact. as the old saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. You can do that with flowers in a way that you can't with anything else.

Think Megan and Harry's wedding. The steps to that chapel were runneth over with a frothing sea of flowers and foliage (I was a wee bit jealous they didn't choose me as their florist) but wow what an impact it had.

I guess that's it really, my Vision, My goal. To create show stopping floristry.
